The Black Country Living Museum.
A day out at last following the countrywide lockdown. On the 1st August 2020 our government allowed museums to reopen their doors to visitors with strict sanitization and social distancing measures in place. With 94% of the BCLM's Income Coming from visitors the lockdown has had a devastating effect on finances, losing around 150,000 visitors and approx £3M in revenue. Following a lifeline of £1.175M from Arts Council England's Emergency Response Fund, Visitors are finally back, and hopefully, things will soon return to some kind of normal very soon.
